Description
Deaf Business Academy provides specialist business development tools for Deaf British Sign Language Users. By making business information and resources more accessible to BSL users, we can begin to bridge the gap between Deaf and mainstream business. Deaf professionals and entrepreneurs will have an equal opportunity to develop business skills without the stress of communication barriers.
In addition to accessible information, we also aim to engage both Deaf and mainstream professionals in live events and networking opportunities. A business cannot operate in a segregated market... to be successful we will need to learn to work together and support each other. The networking opportunities will provide a way for Deaf and mainstream businesses to benefit from each other's knowledge, experience and skills. This innovative approach will promote healthy collaboration, practical learning and business strategy in a competitive mainstream market.
