Martijn van Heesch is a freelance cook: people hire him to cook at parties, for workshops, for barbeques, for events. Often, private persons hire him, for instance for parties. But other top-chefs know him too and hire him to assist them at large cooking events.

In Martijn's words "With one sense missing, I can be totally focused on my work. Because I don't hear, I can use my other 5 senses optimally. Communication? No problem. Because I 'understand' cooking, I understand what my customers want. "
